I've been invited by Hydra Poesis to spend a week in residence at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Arts Studios in Perth, Western Australia, to meet with my long-time collaborator Sam Fox and develop a workshop on remote, intermedia collaboration. Since Sam and I have been working together for 3 years over Skype and email (and never once met in person!) we are excited to dig in and critically assess our process, and hopefully provide a good framework for others to work in a similar vein.
Sam and I are also currently working together on the world premiere of Sibling Rivers in Calgary, Canada, in October with Terrance Houle!
My trip to Perth is made possible by Hydra Poesis and a NET/TEN travel grant from the Network of Ensemble Theatres. Thanks everyone!!
